This seems to be the season of loss these months of the pandemic. And now comes news of the passing of Charlie Watts. Perhaps the coolest rock and roller ever. The first time seeing the Stones as a kid it was all about the show and Mick and Keith. But who was that dude behind the drummer kit? The driver, the force, the “engine room” of the band. I love the story about Charlie informing Mick he wasn’t Mick’s drummer rather Mick was his singer! Coolness will never go out of style and Charlie Watts will live forever.
